What we collect, and where it goes.
Four forms on this site collect personal data. This page says exactly what each one takes, which companies process it, what leaves India, and how long we keep it.

What we collect, and where
We collect personal data at four points, and only these four.
- Request a quote. Application, required capacity, project location and your email address.
- Datasheet request. Product of interest, your name, phone number, email address and any message.
- Careers. Your name, email address, the role, any message, and a CV file if you attach one. CV uploads are limited to 5 MB.
- Assistant chat. The text of the messages you type. Nothing else about you is attached to them.
We do not ask for, and have no field for, financial information, identity-document numbers or any special-category data.
Who processes it
Form submissions are delivered by Resend to our own mailbox at info@silicindiaenergies.com, and a copy of the same submission is sent to an internal SilicIndia application over an authenticated webhook. A CV, if you attach one, travels as an attachment on that email.
Assistant chat messages are sent to Groq, which runs the language model, and is located in the United States. This is a cross-border transfer and we state it plainly here because you cannot see it from the page.
Upstash processes your IP address to rate-limit the chat and the forms. That is its only purpose and it is not used to identify you.
Where analytics is enabled, Google Analytics 4 sets cookies and receives IP-derived location. It is switched off entirely when the site is built without an analytics ID.
What we do not do
Chat messages are not stored by us. They exist in your browser for the length of the conversation and are gone when you close the tab. There is no transcript database in this site.
We do not sell personal data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use your submission to build a profile of you.
How long we keep it
Quote and datasheet enquiries are retained while the commercial conversation is live and for up to 24 months afterwards, so that a returning buyer does not have to start again.
Applications and CVs are retained for up to 12 months from the date you send them, unless you ask us to remove them sooner.
Rate-limiting records expire automatically within minutes and are never used for anything else.
Your rights, and how to use them
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to info@silicindiaenergies.com with the email address you used, and we will respond.
If you asked us to remove a CV, we remove the file and the message it arrived with.
